# Third-party notices

TV Hub is MIT-licensed. The APK includes these libraries, all under the
[Apache License 2.0](https://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0):

Test-only dependencies, not shipped: JUnit 4 (EPL 1.0), kXML 2 (MIT-style), org.json (Public Domain / JSON licence).

The same notice ships in the app under Settings > About and licences (`app/src/main/assets/licenses.txt`).

## What is not included

- No code from [OpenTV](https://github.com/opentvproject/opentv) (GPL-3.0),
  [Dispatcharr](https://github.com/Dispatcharr/Dispatcharr) (AGPL-3.0) or
  [Kodi](https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc) (GPL-2.0-or-later). They were read for how they behave and
  what they publish; TV Hub's player, parsers and guide are written independently on Media3.
  TV Hub talks to Dispatcharr only through its documented `/output/m3u` and `/output/epg`
  addresses, so the AGPL does not reach this app.
- No playlists, channels, logos or credentials. The demo fixtures in `fixtures/` are generated by
  `tools/make_fixtures.py`: made-up listings, solid-colour logos drawn by the script, and one
  public test stream, Big Buck Bunny (c) Blender Foundation, [CC BY 3.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/).
- The banner and icon are drawn by `tools/make_art.py`; the wordmark was set in Outfit (SIL Open
  Font License 1.1). No font file ships in the app.

Pluto TV, Tubi, Plex, Kodi, HDHomeRun, Dispatcharr, Fire TV and Google TV are trademarks of their
owners, named only to describe what TV Hub can open or read. TV Hub is not affiliated with them or with CleanYourTV.
